What does the service mean?
An employers' association (työnantajaliitto) is an organisation of employers in a particular sector. It negotiates the sector's collective agreements and advises its member companies on employment matters. Many sector-specific employers' associations are members of the Confederation of Finnish Industries (Elinkeinoelämän keskusliitto, EK).
When a company joins an employers' association, it becomes bound by the collective agreement the association has concluded (normaalisitova TES). That agreement may differ from the generally binding agreement the company followed before. The member company also gets access to the association's advisory services, for example advice on employment relationships and collective agreements.

The association decides on membership under its own rules, so we cannot promise acceptance. We make sure the application is filled in carefully and the information is correct.
Does the applicable collective agreement change with membership?
It may. A member company is bound by the collective agreement the association has concluded, which may differ from the generally binding agreement followed before. We go through the changes before applying and adapt payroll to the new agreement.
How much does membership cost?
The association's membership fee is explained in the association's own guidance, and we look into it with you before applying. The price of our own help is agreed according to your needs.
