What does the service mean?

A collective agreement (työehtosopimus, TES) sets the sector's minimum wages and many other terms that affect pay. Your company follows either the sector's generally binding collective agreement (yleissitova TES), which also applies to employers that are not members of an employers' association, or the agreement that binds the company through its membership of an employers' association.

We calculate pay under any sector's collective agreement – for example in construction, waterproofing, painting, shipbuilding and shipyards (technology industry), forestry, property services, transport or cleaning.

Agreements differ from one another: one provides for piece-rate or output-based pay, another for shift supplements or its own travel allowances. That is why we first establish which collective agreement applies to your company and which of its provisions cover your employees.

Who is the service for? For employers in any sector whose employees are covered by a collective agreement – either generally binding or binding through membership of an employers' association.

We calculate pay according to the pay groups and minimum wages in the agreement.
We take into account the supplements, overtime compensation and travel expense allowances under the agreement.
We calculate holiday bonuses, sick pay and public holiday compensation under the agreement where it provides for them.
We file the earnings reports with the Incomes Register (tulorekisteri) and, if you wish, allocate wages to sites or projects.
We look into unclear points of interpretation in the agreement as agreed.

How do I know which collective agreement my company follows?

It depends on the company's main line of business and whether it is a member of an employers' association. If the company is not a member, the sector's generally binding collective agreement usually applies, if the sector has one. We will work it out with you.

Do you also calculate pay under agreements other than the construction TES?

Yes. We calculate pay under the collective agreement your company follows, for example in waterproofing, painting or forestry, in shipbuilding or in property services.

How much does collective agreement payroll cost in other sectors?

The basic price of a payslip is in the price list, and construction TES pay has its own price row. Collective agreement pay in other sectors is priced according to the work involved: we give you a quote once we know the agreement, the number of employees and how often wages are paid.

Can wages be calculated based on piece work or output?

Yes, when the piece work or output and its rates have been agreed in the employment contract or in line with the collective agreement.
