We find out what is wrong in the pay data reported to the Incomes Register (tulorekisteri) and correct the filings. We also answer the authorities' queries about the data reported.
Pay and benefit data reported to the Incomes Register (tulorekisteri) is passed on to several authorities. If a report contains an error, it may show up, for example, in the employee's taxation, in benefits from the Social Insurance Institution of Finland (Kela) or in pension records.
An incorrect report is corrected with a replacement report (a new report replaces the wrong one) or by cancelling it (the wrong report is removed). The correction must be made without delay once the error is discovered. Sometimes an authority asks for an explanation of the reported data.
