We keep the books for your construction business in line with the sector's special rules, such as reverse-charge VAT (the buyer accounts for the VAT). Income and costs are allocated to sites, so you can see how profitable each one is.
Financial management in construction has features that other sectors do not. For example, the sale of construction services is often subject to the reverse charge for VAT (käännetty arvonlisäverovelvollisuus), which means the buyer accounts for the VAT.
The sector also has its own reporting obligations, checks required under the Act on the Contractor's Obligations and Liability when Work is Contracted Out (tilaajavastuulaki: the client checks that the subcontractor has paid its taxes and pension contributions and is properly registered), and its own construction collective agreement (TES). When bookkeeping is kept site by site, you can also see which projects are profitable.

Your part
What we need from you
Contracts and site details
Receipts and invoices marked with the site they belong to
Employees' hours by site
Whether your company works as a main contractor or a subcontractor
When a construction service is sold to another company that sells construction services, the buyer accounts for the VAT. The seller invoices without VAT and states on the invoice that the reverse charge applies.
What does Rakennus Premium include?
Bookkeeping, payroll, the collective agreement, project tracking and guidance for the business owner. The price is agreed by quotation.
What is the Luotettava Kumppani report?
A Vastuu Group service that brings together in one report the company information required under the Contractor's Liability Act (tilaajavastuulaki), such as whether taxes and pension contributions have been paid. In construction, clients often ask for the report before signing a contract. We help keep the details up to date.
