A system migration means moving your bookkeeping from one program or accounting firm to another. The balances, customer and supplier details and open invoices from the old system must be transferred correctly to the new one.
Integrations connect systems to one another: for example, your bank, invoicing, online shop or time tracking can transfer data to the bookkeeping automatically. It is best to time the migration for the change of a period, as this makes comparison and reconciliation easier.
